By purchasing any service from Sweet Pea Design Studio you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions, please read carefully. These policies may change at any time without prior notice
Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is due before the design process is to begin. The remaining 50% is due before installation. Once the final 50% payment has gone through, Sweet Pea Design Studio will install and publish your site to your chosen hosting account.
Waiting list payment plan: A 25% non-refundable deposit is to secure your spot on the waiting list. A second payment of 25% is due before the design process is to begin (ie. Your start date). The remaining 50% is due before installation. Once the final 50% payment has gone through, Sweet Pea Design Studio will install and publish your site to your chosen hosting account.
*Please note: For any design work OTHER than a custom website design, requires full payment. This includes but not limited to: print design, web maintenance, web set-up, logo design, pre-made templates.
Sweet Pea Design Studio only takes credit cards and e-checks through Paypal. By paying with an e-check you agreeing that if the bank should return the payment for any reason, you are responsible for any additional fees incurred by Sweet Pea Design Studio and you will be charged a $30 fee.
You will receive a conformation of order and receipt of payment through e-mail.
Authorization
By purchasing a design service, you are agreeing to let Sweet Pea Design Studio access any hosting or domain account for the sole purpose of installation and updates. You also agree to authorize the hosting service to provide Sweet Pea Design Studio with complete access to the account and any other programs needed for installation or updating. Sweet Pea Design Studio will not store or record any passwords or login information after final installation or update is performed. If additional updates are needed, you will need to provide password and login information again.
Revisions
Sweet Pea Design Studio fully believes in customer satisfaction and will work with you till you completely love your design. We do offer unlimited revisions for each design however there are some stipulations for this. Please read the following carefully for each design type.
LOGOS: We will work with your logo until you love it. You logo is your brand identity and it should be perfect. However, If you change the business name in the middle of the design process there will be an
additional logo design charge for the full amount that logos are at the
time of the change.
PRINT ITEMS: Once the design is approved and
finalized any additional
revisions will result in additional costs. The amount of the new cost may vary according to the extent of the revision. Sweet Pea Design Studio holds full discretion on how to measure the extent of the revision(s).
WEB DESIGN: Once the design is live (meaning open to for public viewing), any changes will incur additional charges. The amount of the new cost may vary according to the extent of the revision(s). *This does not include items that fall under "Support". Sweet Pea Design Studio holds full discretion on how to measure the extent of the revision(s) and whether or not it is considered support.
Completion Time
Sweet Pea Design Studio does not guarantee any deadlines for each project is different. In order for the project to go a smoothly and as quick as possible, a full cooperation is needed by both you (the client) and Sweet Pea Design Studio. Sweet Pea Design Studio agrees to communicate with you during the entire development with status updates. You, the client agree to promptly reply to any communications (within 7 days) or your project may be moved behind others and thus delaying the date of completion.
Non-Communication
If Sweet Pea Design Studio is unable to communicate with a client for a duration of one(1) month by phone or e-mail during the design process, the project will be canceled without prior notice and any monies paid to Sweet Pea Design Studio will be forfeited and a new deposit and contract will need to be submitted.
Hosting
Before any design work is started, you must have a hosting account set up and domain registered.
Copyright
All work done by Sweet Pea Design Studio will be transferred to you, the client, once full payment has been received. Any work not accepted by you, the client, will remain our property and may be used in other designs. Any work produced by Sweet Pea Design Studio is subject to use in our portfolio.
You agree that any element used for the design is owned by you, or you have permission to you such element. A proof of ownership might be required for some elements. You also agree to hold Sweet Pea Design Studio unaccountable for infringement if such elements are found.
Under no circumstances shall a site be duplicated, sold, or redistributed. You may alter the coding, but not for use in another design to re-sell. Any logo or graphics needed for print will be transferred to you, the client, upon final payment.
Credit
Sweet Pea Design Studio will place a link at the bottom of your site. You agree not to remove this link for the products' entirety.
Refunds
Sweet Pea Design Studio does not issue any type of refunds. We will make every effort to satisfy you till you are 100% happy with your design. So, if you do not like the design, speak up! If however you have not paid your last 50% payment and wish not to use Sweet Pea Design Studio, you forfeit any liabilities to pay the final payment and any deposits made thus far.
Customer Service/Support
Free support for life of design! Once design is altered in any way (coding or graphics) you loose support of the design. Support is granted if any part of the design or coding is not working properly. This does not include design or layout changes. Sweet Pea Design Studio holds full discretion on what is included.
Privacy
Sweet Pea Design Studio does not share or sell any information you provide to any parties.
